Therapy for Women in New York
Virtual therapy for women in NYC and across New York who are navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, identity questions, and the pressure of holding everything together.
A Space to Focus on You
Women often carry a great deal. Between work, relationships, family responsibilities, personal goals, and the expectations placed upon them by others, it can be difficult to find space to focus on themselves.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of your next step. Perhaps you're struggling in relationships, questioning your identity, navigating a major life transition, or feeling pulled in too many directions at once. You may appear capable and successful on the outside while privately carrying stress, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion.
Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down and better understand yourself. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped who you are so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I work with adult women throughout New York via secure virtual sessions.
Navigating Relationships, Identity, and Expectations
Every woman's story is unique, but many of the women I work with share a common experience: they are trying to balance multiple roles, responsibilities, and identities while still remaining connected to themselves.
You may be married, dating, divorced, exploring a new relationship, or navigating a polyamorous partnership. You may be a parent, step-parent, caregiver, or someone who has chosen a different path altogether. You may identify as straight, lesbian, bisexual, queer, or be exploring your own understanding of your identity and relationships.
Many women also find themselves carrying the role of helper, caretaker, peacekeeper, or problem-solver within their families. Others struggle to balance the demands of a successful career with the desire for meaningful relationships, family connection, and personal fulfillment.
For some, additional layers of complexity come from navigating cultural identity, racial identity, immigration experiences, or the experience of being a first-generation American or international student. These experiences can shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and make important life decisions.
Therapy provides a supportive space to explore these experiences, better understand yourself, and create a life that feels aligned with your values rather than solely the expectations of others.
